What makes the ITAL platform different from standard couriers?

A standard courier scans a barcode and hands over a parcel. ITAL is built for company-owned assets: every shipment is tied to an asset tag and employee record, packed to a device-specific standard (not generic courier packaging), and moved by Globe’s own trained crew — not a network of local franchise partners. You get chain-of-custody visibility from your warehouse to the employee’s door, which a courier consignment note doesn’t give you.
Yes. ITAL exposes an API and supports scheduled file-based syncs (CSV/SFTP) so asset records and employee/location data can flow from your ITAM or HRIS without manual re-entry. Common integrations include ServiceNow, Ivanti and SAP SuccessFactors; if your platform isn’t a standard connector, we scope a custom feed during onboarding.

Globe’s own offices, warehouses and crew operate across major Indian metros and a wide network of tier-2/tier-3 towns. Where a delivery falls outside our owned footprint, we use a vetted last-mile partner and disclose that in your shipment plan up front — it’s never a surprise after the fact.

Recovery is scheduled against your offboarding date, not chased informally over email. We coordinate pickup directly with the employee, verify the asset against your records at collection, and route it to your nominated warehouse or disposal partner. Every recovery is logged with timestamp and condition notes, so you have a clean audit trail for each device.
We schedule delivery windows with the employee in advance and reconfirm before dispatch. If they’re genuinely unavailable, the shipment is held securely at the nearest Globe facility (not left with a neighbour or building security) and redelivered on a date they confirm — your asset custody chain stays unbroken either way.

Is insurance coverage available for high-value assets?

Yes, transit insurance is available and can be scoped to your declared asset values — useful for servers, high-spec workstations or bulk laptop deployments where standard courier liability limits wouldn’t come close to covering replacement cost.
A live dashboard showing shipment status by employee, location and asset ID, plus scheduled reports (delivery SLAs, exceptions, recovery rates) exportable in the format your IT and finance teams already use for reconciliation. Ad hoc reports are available on request during the contract, not just at renewal.
Each employee gets a tracking link and SMS/email updates at the key milestones — dispatch, out for delivery, delivered — the same way they’d expect from a consumer courier, so your helpdesk isn’t fielding “where’s my laptop” tickets.
Globe is FIDI-FAIM Plus certified (audited by EY) and ISO 9001 / 27001 / 14001 certified, covering quality management, information security and environmental management respectively — relevant given ITAL shipments routinely involve devices holding company data.
For a standard rollout with a common ITAM/HRIS integration, plan for 2–4 weeks from kickoff to first live shipment — covering data mapping, a pilot batch, and sign-off before full-scale deployment. Custom integrations or multi-location onboarding can extend that; we give you a firm date once scoping is done, not a placeholder.
